Northeast Pools & Spas is a custom pool and spa builder. We work with gunite/shotcrete, dry mix or wet-mix concrete to build long-lasting, functional, beautiful pools and spas. We started our business in 1975 with a commitment to quality and service—and our hundreds of satisfied clients in Vermont as well as the rest of northern New England can attest to our work.

History

Arthur Holmes, a certified Master Pool Builder, took over Northeast Sales Company with partner Tom Day in 1981 after having worked for the company since inception, and from the beginning they focused on building and servicing high-quality pools customized for our demanding northern climate. Tom retired in 2002, but Arthur's children, Denise Rundle and David Holmes, entered the business. In 2016, Arthur fully retired and the next generation is committed to building pools using the finest materials,  while integrating the newest technologies and working to minimize the environmental impact of owning a pool.  David and Denise are both Certified Builder Professionals with Pool & Hot Tub Alliance and are always continuing their education as science advances the industry.   

Our Commitment

Our family business is a member of the Vermont Family Business Initiative of University of Vermont Business School, and we are a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Plasterers Council. We have also received Cover Pools Building Certification.
